NIAGARA NORTHSHORE TOURS
Most of the touring musicians I know tend to drive straight through the Northshore, without stops but to gas up in Wawa. They kept telling me there are no venues along that route. Musicians tend to either by pass that beautiful vista, redirecting through the states, or they travel through the night, without catching a glimpse of the incredible vistas.
This didn't bode well with me as I truly find such strength grounding on that Canadian Shield, dipping my toes, or diving into the greatest of the Greats, Lake Superior. And surely there must be some places to play out that way?
It's no secret, that my true love is the North Shore.
With this in mind, I was determined to carve a path, connecting deeper with venues & and music makers along the way. The destination/motivation - to connect communities & raise the vibration through song. This dream seems to be workin' out...

Two summers ago I brought Minuscule along the Northshore, this past summer it was Thunderclap! who joined the musical train on his cross Canada tour, promoting his latest album 'Strange Songs for Strange Times'. As we planned that tour, my gut kept telling me to get Wawa on a poster. I was a bit obsessed to be honest, then we ended up getting two gigs in one day there. Ha. During that stop, we heard the tenderly rugged Canadiana sounds of Alex Charbonneau when she take the stage at Woody's Pub,
with her mama in tow, sigh. The rest is north shore history!
The gang met up this past fall to rock the Mane Street Cafe in the Sault, Woody's * more.
Thunderclap! and I also brought Niagara's Soul Stompin' Zach Bury along for the ride, and my daughter!
I am so grateful to have friends the know the beat of my heart and intention for music. We are now about to set forth on our fourth tour, spreading some good hearted music in The Sault, Wawa, Bruce Minnes & Sudbury. The destination was to build community spirit and we are well on our way... more to come...
